Beau Navire - Hours (2011)
SCREAMO
Beau Navire is formed by members of iwrotehaikusaboutcannibalisminyouryearbook, Loma Prieta and Spectres. They've released pretty nice stuff this year, their previous LP, Life Moves, and the two splits with Adobe Homes and Suffix. Anyway, these guys have evolved a lot, the vocals are excellent and the instrumentation is solid as well. Highly recommended for fans of Ampere, Raein and Pianos Become The Teeth.

Carved Our Names in Snow
EMO | SCREAMO
Looking for new stuff the other day I found this band called Carved Our Names in Snow. I don't know very much about them, they released a split with Our Sunday Affairs and The Whoopass Girls, and a demo this year. Give them a listen on their Bancamp, they're pretty good.

M83 - Hurry Up, We're Dreaming (2011)
DREAM POP | ELECTRONIC | SHOEGAZE
"It's a double album. It's mainly about dreams, how every one is different, how you dream differently when you're a kid, a teenager, or an adult. I'm really proud of it. If you're doing a very long album, all the songs need to be different and I think I've done that with this one."
It was suposed to come out on October 18th, but it leaked quite early.

Cap'n Jazz - Analphabetapolothology (1998)
EMO | INDIE
Easily the most influential emo band ever, formed by Tim and Mike Kinsella, Sam Zurick and Victor Villareal in 1989, Analphabetapolothology collects the entirety of the Cap'n Jazz work, assembling all of the singles and compilation tracks as well as unreleased eight-track demos and live material from their final show in their native Chicago. The band broke up in 1995, despite this, they reunited after playing at The Empty Bottle on Friday, January 22, 2010. Messy Life live @ The Empty Bottle.
First post, yay.
